What I wore, or a close approximation, every day.
Recently I lost a significant amount of weight. On the upside, YAY whole new wardrobe! But I'm a little intimidated by my new clothes. Despite hours of watching "What Not to Wear" and decades of consuming fashion magazines, I'm still buying pieces because I like them, not because they fit into my wardrobe. Polyvore is my personal experiment into keeping track of what's in my closet and making outfits work.
Outfits with as much of my actual wardrobe as possible (substituting similar items when I can't find the exact item) and tracking what I put together for 6 months, hopefully to discover what is and isn't working. This is my opportunity to once and for all rid my closet of items that just aren't quite right and to list those outfits that work so that I can go back to the great ones as I clean the bad out of my closet. I will also try to keep notes for myself in comments so I can remember how I felt in each outfit.
